Healthy body – Homeopathy
Homeopathy is a system of alternative medicine created in 1796 by Samuel Hahnemann, based on his doctrine of “Like Cures Like” (Similia Similibus Curentur). A claim that a substance that causes the symptoms of a disease in healthy people would cure similar symptoms in sick people. I’m not getting into how it works, as you have to study it in depth for a few years; however, I know on my body, that it does wonders.
It wasn’t only helpful for me, it actually saved my little one, who by the age of 2, had spent time in each and every Hospital ward possible, treated by the best professors, yet no one has looked at the kid with all his history and made a connections between all his diseases. Since nothing of what western medicine had to offer us worked, and I was desperate, I started looking for other options. In my search, I was introduced to Dr. Freed, an Israeli Doctor (MD) who is also a Homeopathy Doctor.
To make a long story short, from the sickest kid ever, who spent weeks in hospitals and at home, drinking antibiotics like it was water, we stopped consuming any medicines. From having all kinds of infectious diseases, he became healthy, strong and balanced. Today 7 years later, whenever something happens to him, physically or emotionally, usually his body already knows how to handle it, and if it’s more serious, we consult with our local expert: Yifat Bloch, who is doing her apprenticeship in Homeopathy these days and she always finds the right “remedie” for him (this is the name for the homeopathic treatment) so he can quickly returns to being happy and healthy.
So, next time when you are not well, and you consider your options, just remember you have a choice, and there are more ways to treat and heal your body and mind. These methods are holistic and been around for hundreds of years and what most important, they see you as a whole, one human being with body mind and soul that are interwoven.
