SUP (Stand Up Paddle Board) Yoga
In this amazing new outdoor class, you learn how to properly stand and row on a Stand-Up Paddle Board (SUP) and how to perform different Yoga poses while serenely floating on the natural splendor of calm water. Since the poses are being performed on a moving surface, you will be engaging your core muscles and because the poses have to be aligned just perfectly for even weight distribution on the boards, you will not only be benefiting from a challenging class, but you will also be improving your in-studio yoga practice. Open to all levels. Make sure to bring your bathing suit, sunscreen and a towel and be at least 10 minutes before your scheduled class.
Classes are held on the Chattahoochee River on weekdays: Monday mornings 7:30 till 9:30 Friday from 11:30 till 13:30 On weekends, classes are avialable on Lake Lanier, when weather permits.
A private class is 55 minutes, you get a SUP and a paddle and it costs $59.

Aqua Yoga is a fun and effective practice that adapts traditional Yoga postures to an aquatic environment. From a physical standpoint, practicing yoga postures in the water causes less stress on the joints and provides a feeling of success by allowing you to experience difficult postures you may be unable to achieve on land. However, in some postures, the resistance of the water creates more opportunity to build strength. Class is held in a beautiful private serene pool and is open for all levels. SUP Yoga and Aqua Yoga classes are both an hour long.
